SCC April Community Dinner

MAKE YOUR RESERVATION for a special GREEK  DINNER  prepared by Carol Sanders of Real Good Food. * $20 PAY AT THE DOOR.


Following the dinner we have Riley Moore West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 67 who will report on the recently completed legislative session in Charleston. Bring your Questions.


We gather at 6:30 in the War Memorial Building (German & Kings sts) * Dinner at 7 *  the program starts at 8, ending no later than 9.


The Spring menu starts with appetizers of Tapanade, Bruscetta, and lightly cooked vegetables


Then a main course of Hortopitta (a greens & herb pie with feta cheese baked in a yeasted dough) & Chicken Kapama (stewed chicken in red wine, brandy, & coffee, flavored with honey & cinnamon); along with a side grain; and ending with a Greek dessert.


Vegetarian alternative provided,; please request along with your reservation.


Please make your reservation by April 15 with or 304-283-039. If you need to cancel your reservation please do so by April 15 so we have an accurate count for dinner preparations.




This year’s SCC Back Alley Garden Tour & Tea will be held (rain or shine) on Saturday-Sunday, May 20-21.
