Our Rental Spaces

Founded in 1945 as the Shepherdstown Men’s Club to support the civic responsibilities of Shepherdstown and the surrounding towns and counties, the Shepherdstown Community Club (SCC) has become the magnet for civic events, cultural activities, social gatherings, and outdoor gatherings.

War Memorial Building

This iconic brick building is located in the heart of Shepherdstown next to the beloved library. It offers two rentable floors; the art gallery and the ballroom. There is an elevator, sweeping staircase, a commercial kitchen, and tables and chairs.

Morgan's Grove Park

The 25 acres that comprise MORGAN’S GROVE PARK was purchased in 1961. In 1999 it was entered into the National Register of Historic Places to commemorate the property’s role in the historic 600 mile Beeline March of local militia in 1775 which joined General George Washington in Cambridge for the Revolution that made us America. “It has also been OFFICIALLY designated as the birthplace of the US Army.” (see ‘plaque’)

A public green space for the community, Morgan’s Grove Park has a covered pavilion, full kitchen, picnic tables and grills, and restrooms plus playground equipment, athletic fields, and a walking/running trail.
