Founded in 1945, the Shepherdstown
Community Club is an organization
of men and women dedicated
to community service.

Membership is open to all people eighteen years and older, who wish to contribute their time and energy to maintain and operate club supported civic programs and facilities, as well as to enjoy the club’s dinner meetings and other activities.

War Memorial Building

The War Memorial Building offers an ideal location right in the heart of Historic Shepherdstown. The first floor Art gallery is a spacious room with columns and track lighting. Climb the sweeping stairs to enjoy the ballroom. The 20 foot ceiling and well-loved wooden dance floor add to the ambiance. There is also a commercial kitchen. An elevator is available.

Morgan's Grove Park

Morgan’s Grove Park is over 25 acres of preserved nature, open to everyone from April to November. It has, perhaps, the largest grove of Ash Trees on the Eastern divide, saved from the Borer beetle with your donations. There is a children’s playground with fun equipment, a newly graveled .87 mile running-walking path, and a picnic pavilion with a full kitchen and outdoor grills. All of this is surrounded by a landscaped flower bed and a magnificent view of the whole park.
