Founded in 1945, the Shepherdstown Community Club is an organization of men and women dedicated to community service. Membership is open to all people eighteen years and older, who wish to contribute their time and energy to maintain and operate club supported civic programs and facilities, as well as to enjoy the club's dinner meetings and other activities.

The War Memorial Building

is the center of activity in Shepherdstown. The Shepherdstown Community Club acquired the building in 1947 from which time it has served in many capacities.

is a 21+ acre park which includes a children’s playground, a professionally landscaped walking path, soccer fields, a volley ball court, a covered pavilion and kitchen, barbeque grills, playground equipment, and picnic tables.
